Client Services Associate

Role Overview:

Client Services Associate are responsible for shaping the future of service by modernizing the client experience through an elevated standard of care. The BSO reports directly to the Market Business Service Officer (MBSO) and oversees the supervision and management of Support Professionals, as well as the execution of all business and service functions within assigned branches.

Education & Experience:

  • Equivalent educational credentials to a bachelor's degree are accepted for this position
  • Previous industry experience
  • It is required to have current qualifications in Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and 10 (SU), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA)
  • More accreditations as needed according to managerial policies

  • Having a clear understanding of the risk and compliance policies of a company is crucial

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering improved communication and training experiences for Service Professionals
  • Working jointly with Market Sales and Risk departments to guarantee flawless execution within the business
  • Collaborating with the MBSO to ensure the successful implementation of service initiatives
  • Support the department in achieving the strategic goals of the company by motivating and coaching employees to change their behavior, with a focus on consistency, quality, and adherence to guidelines
  • Take on the role of leading, coaching, and supervising a team of Support and Service Experts
  • Underscore the importance of empowering Service and Support Professionals through learning and development opportunities to enhance job satisfaction and performance
  • Aid in the facilitation of the interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes for new team members, including Financial Advisors and their Support Professionals
  • Coordinate efforts with MBSO and HR to effectively manage people-oriented tasks, such as conducting evaluations, monitoring performance levels, and resolving conflicts
  • Foster enduring relationships with critical partners in the Branch, Market, Region, and Home Office; actively partake in team meetings, regional, and national summits
  • Initiate frequent one-on-one interactions with Support Professionals to provide coaching, set career aspirations, manage work responsibilities, and build team camaraderie
  • Superintend the support professionals' workload and coverage for financial advisors at the branch
  • Discover methods to appreciate Support Professionals by exchanging successful practices, achievements, and notable stories
  • Advocate for a branch culture that echoes Firm values, with a strong emphasis on promoting diversity and inclusion
