Job Description:

As a Crew Member at Popeyes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive outstanding service and enjoy mouthwatering meals in a welcoming atmosphere. You will work alongside a dynamic team, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our restaurant. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and package food items accurately and according to Popeyes' standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Cashier Duties: Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency. Process orders, collect payments, and issue receipts.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restroom facilities according to health and safety standards.
  • Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to proper food handling procedures, including temperature monitoring, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assisting with tasks as needed.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and special offers to effectively assist customers with their orders and inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.
  • Must complete all Popeyes Academy assigned Learning and LTOs
  • Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with Guests and coworkers.
  • Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds of force frequently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds.
  • Consistently operates registers.
  • Consistently handle product preparation.
  • Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures.
  • Frequently stop and pick up supplies and trash.
  • Consistently push to open and close doors to store and storage shed as well as cooler and freezers.
  • Consistently stand during serving customers and training.
  • Consistently talk to and listen to fellow team members and Guests.
  • Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking and inventory.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicants must possess a valid food handler's permit or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one. Employers will be responsible for providing the necessary training and certification for all employees, who are required to be certified.
