We are seeking an experienced Wix Expert Web Master to manage and maintain our Wix website. This role is ideal for someone with extensive Wix experience who can keep our website current, visually engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions while maintaining our established brand identity.

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands how to build and maintain high-quality Wix websites, can efficiently implement updates, and proactively improve the user experience. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, meets deadlines, and takes ownership of website performance and ongoing improvements.

Job Overview

The Wix Expert Web Master will be responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance, and optimization of our Wix website. This role will work closely with management to ensure the website accurately reflects current programs, events, promotions, and branding while providing visitors with an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the Wix website on an ongoing basis.

Add and update class schedules, events, workshops, camps, and promotions.

Create new landing pages as needed for marketing initiatives and special events.

Ensure website content is accurate, current, and consistent with brand standards.

Optimize website layout, navigation, and user experience.

Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.

Implement SEO best practices within Wix to improve search visibility.

Ensure the website functions properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Troubleshoot website issues and resolve them promptly.

Coordinate with management regarding new website features and improvements.

Maintain a clean, organized website structure and media library.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing Wix websites.

Advanced knowledge of the Wix Editor and/or Wix Studio.

Strong understanding of website design principles and user experience (UX).

Experience with on-page SEO and website optimization.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with the management team.

Confidence learning and using new software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with fitness, recreation, dance, or performing arts organizations.

Familiarity with Walla student registration software.

Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for simple website graphics is a plus.
