<b>Job Description:</b><br/><br/>Software Development Manager<br/><br/><b>3M Health Care is now Solventum</b><br/><br/><b>The Impact You'll Make in this Role</b><br/>Solventum Clinical and Economic Research is seeking a highly motivated leader for teams developing software products used domestically and internationally to ensure accurate grouping, editing, and reimbursement of health care claims and to improve the quality of health care. Our cross-functional agile/Scrum teams develop a mix Java applications and legacy applications that with the help of agentic AI we're actively redeveloping and rearchitecting to better suit our customer's needs both on premises and in the cloud. <br/><br/>If you have leadership skills, relevant technical experience, an urge to automate, and are driven to deliver quality software to customers that can improve patients' lives, we'd love to talk with you.<br/>• Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams responsible for developing 3M HIS products, including Developers and Quality Assurance. This includes hiring, establishing and tracking goals and objectives, assigning workload, training, and facilitating the performance review process.<br/>• Assist Technical Product Owner for a team working both to deliver HIS grouping content under the existing technology stack while simultaneously architecting and developing the replacement technology stack in a methodical manner.<br/>• Set technical direction and establish, prioritize and work with the development team to define and update the team's backlog in concert with Tech Leads.<br/>• Mentor development staff with duties such as analysis, software design, prototyping, coding, debugging, test case creation, test case automation, test case execution, documentation, support, infrastructure maintenance. <br/>• Participate on cross-functional teams, coordinate and communicate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Developers and others.<br/>• Champion Agile principles throughout the organization<br/>• Create an atmosphere of innovation and enable professional growth<br/>• Conflict / Change management ownership to ensure productivity<br/><br/>As an Software Development Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. <b>Here, you will make an impact by:</b><br/><br/>Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams responsible for developing HIS products, including Developers and Quality Assurance.
