Rotates older stock to the front of the shelf.</li><li>Marks identifying codes, figures, price tags, or letters on merchandise</li><li>Move, handle, and transport finished products, materials, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation</li><li>Provide customer service while working in a visible space on the floor</li><li>Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height, weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.</li><li>Maintains inventory and other stock records.</li><li>Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products</li><li>Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves), and dispose of trash</li><li>Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information</li><li>Any and all other duties assigned by management<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications for the position:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Effective time management</li><li>Background with agricultural products and environment helpful</li><li>Previous retail experience helpful but not required</li><li>Must have reliable transportation to work</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills a plus</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Ability to stand for long hours and be able to lift heavy merchandise</li><li>Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English</li><li>Ability to work both independently and within a team environment<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Expectations:<br><br></strong>During the job, employees are regularly required to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods, use their hands to handle or control objects, and perform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching. The role involves frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, with occasional requirements to handle more with assistance or equipment. Employees must also be able to push and pull using various equipment. Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, are necessary. Verbal communication and the ability to hear are also required for safety and coordination.<br><br><strong>Notices:<br><br></strong>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
