Creative Front-End Developer – Immersive Single-Page Website with GSAP & Cloudflare

Creative Front-End Developer – Immersive Single-Page Website

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Dare to Seek Beyond (D2SB) is seeking an experienced, creative front-end developer to refine an existing website design and prepare it for professional launch.

THIS PROJECT IS FOR ONE (1) CONTINUOUS-SCROLLING WEB PAGE, NOT A MULTIPAGE WEBSITE.

The web page will contain six major content sections plus a contact/footer area. Although this is a single-page project, it requires sophisticated visual effects, interactive elements, and professional animation.

PAGE STRUCTURE

1. Home – Company branding and animated introduction

2. Our Story – Company vision and philosophy

3. What We Explore – Areas of innovation

4. Our Approach – Creative process and development philosophy

5. Visual Gallery – Collaboration imagery and expanding visual frames

6. Kickstarter – Campaign introduction and call to action

A contact area and social media icons will be incorporated into the footer.

DESIGN AND ANIMATION REQUIREMENTS

We want a visually impressive, cinematic experience rather than a traditional static business website.

Key features include:

* Smooth, continuous scrolling with parallax effects

* Scroll-triggered text and image animations

* Pinned sections and expanding image frames

* Dynamic transitions and interactive elements

* Professional typography and responsive layouts

* Dark navy and electric-blue visual theme

* Collaborative team imagery and sketch-inspired graphics

* Smooth navigation between page sections

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

* HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and GSAP/ScrollTrigger or equivalent

* Fully responsive for desktop, iPad, and smartphones

* Tested on iPad Safari in portrait and landscape modes

* Optimized images and fast loading performance

* Basic search engine optimization (SEO)

* Accessibility and reduced-motion support

* Compatibility with Cloudflare Pages hosting

* Deployment assistance and final website testing

* No required WordPress installation or paid website builder

PROJECT DELIVERABLES

* One fully functional, continuous-scrolling web page

* Complete editable source code and website assets

* Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile versions

* Fully operational animations, navigation, and contact features

* Website deployment and launch assistance

* Post-launch corrections and technical support

* Full ownership and control of the completed project by D2SB

FREELANCER QUALIFICATIONS

Please provide:

1. Examples of similar animated or interactive websites you have developed.

2. Experience with GSAP, ScrollTrigger, and advanced scrolling effects.

3. Experience developing responsive websites for iPad Safari.

4. Experience deploying websites using Cloudflare Pages.

5. A fixed total project price, estimated timeline, and number of revisions included.

IMPORTANT

We already have an established visual concept and design direction. We are not looking for a complete redesign from scratch.

A detailed development specification and visual references will be provided to shortlisted candidates.

We are looking for a developer who can combine creative design skills with strong technical execution to deliver a polished, immersive single-page experience.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
