BROOKLYN FULL-TIME NANNY NEEDED FOR HNW ACTIVE FAMILY!

Overview:

BROOKLYN, NY (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)
— An incredible, warm, and highly engaged professional family is seeking an experienced FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT NANNY to join their household and care for their two children, ages 5 and soon-to-be-3 years old. This is an exciting opportunity for a polished, flexible, travel-loving nanny who thrives in a collaborative environment and would love to become a valued part of an active family’s life! The target start date is 11/16/26, allowing for approximately one week of overlap with their current nanny to ensure a seamless transition.

The moms are very involved, hands-on parents and are looking for an amazing teammate who can work alongside them with great communication, flexibility, and a true “all hands on deck” mentality. The family guarantees 40 hours per week with two days off each week, although the exact schedule will remain fluid based on the family’s needs. They generally have a strong understanding of their schedule in advance and will provide as much notice as possible when changes arise. Flexibility for occasional nights and weekends is important.

For the nanny who loves to travel, this is an incredible opportunity! The family travels both domestically and internationally, including extended stays in Spain, and would love someone who genuinely enjoys experiencing new places alongside a family. Candidates should be comfortable traveling for both shorter trips and extended periods and must have a valid passport. The nanny will always receive private accommodations while traveling, as well as a daily travel stipend. One parent is from Spain and speaks Catalan with the children, so Catalan or Spanish-speaking candidates are especially encouraged to apply! While bilingualism is preferred rather than required, a nanny who can communicate with the children in Spanish or Catalan and help nurture their language development would be a wonderful addition to the family.

The family is also preparing to welcome twins, anticipated to arrive 12/4! A dedicated Newborn Care Specialist will care for the babies for approximately the first three months, and the family plans to hire an additional nanny specifically for the twins once the NCS concludes. This position will remain primarily focused on the two older children, with the opportunity to work as part of a supportive and well-organized childcare team as the family grows. Responsibilities center around providing exceptional, engaging care for the children, planning fun and developmentally appropriate activities both in New York and while traveling, preparing and packing the children for trips, and helping their routines remain as seamless as possible wherever the family may be in the world. The family has a dog who requires minimal to no care. No vehicle is required, and driving the children is not currently necessary. They also have two dogs, so must be ok with them, even though no care is required.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional nanny who is warm, proactive, adaptable, communicative, discreet, and genuinely loves travel. Experience traveling domestically and internationally with private or high-profile families is highly valued, as is someone who understands how to remain flexible and collaborative within a dynamic household. An NDA is required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $40–$50/hour gross + applicable overtime, paid legally via payroll; guaranteed 40 hours per week; 10 paid vacation days; 5 paid sick days; negotiable health insurance stipend; daily travel stipend; and private accommodations while traveling. All vaccines are required, including Tdap, MMR, COVID, and Flu.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny looking for a long-term position with a wonderful, involved family, extensive international travel, competitive compensation, and the chance to become an integral part of a growing household!
