Key responsibilities include managing multiple projects simultaneously, interpreting civil and grading plans, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and operating heavy equipment.</p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Lead and supervise field crews performing construction preparation, site preparation, grading, and related field operations</li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to quality expectations</li><li>Develop, maintain, and execute project schedules while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks</li><li>Read, interpret, and execute work based on civil construction plans, grading plans, and project specifications</li><li>Coordinate daily activities between internal crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders</li><li>Provide leadership, coaching, and oversight to field personnel while maintaining accountability for productivity and safety</li><li>Operate and oversee heavy equipment, including dozers and grading equipment, as needed to support project execution</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies</li><li>Maintain consistent communication with project managers, leadership, vendors, and customers regarding project status, timelines, and resource needs</li><li>Track manpower, equipment utilization, project milestones, and daily progress to ensure successful project completion</li><li>Ensure all work is completed according to EquipmentShare's operational and quality standards</li><li>Travel extensively to project sites throughout the country</li></ul><strong>Why EquipmentShare?</strong><p>Because we do things differently — and we think you’ll feel it from day one. You bring grit, heart, and humility to your work, and you’re excited about the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.</p><p>We’re looking for people who:</p><ul><li>See challenges as opportunities<br><br></li><li>Embrace change and continuous improvement<br><br></li><li>Bring energy, effort, and optimism every day</li></ul>Skills & Qualifications <ul><li><ul><li>Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, scheduling, manpower coordination, and successful on-time project delivery</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings, grading plans, and site plans</li><li>Hands-on experience operating dozers and other grading equipment</li><li>Proven leadership experience managing field personnel in fast-paced construction or heavy equipment environments</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Strong history of managing project schedules and coordinating vendors and subcontractors</li><li>Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail</li><li>Technical proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and various technology applications</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong knowledge of rock applications for work site preparation.</li></ul><strong>Education and Experience: </strong><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>At least 7 years of experience in the commercial construction industry or in a similar adjacent role</li><li>At least 3 years experience as a foreman/people manager </li><li>Previous experience managing field operations, construction crews, or civil/site development projects</li><li>Project Management experience, required </li><li>OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification, preferred </li><li>First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred</li><li>Experience with Trimble Grade Control Systems or similar GPS machine control technology</li><li>Background in heavy civil construction, earthwork, grading, or site development, required</li><li>Experience managing multiple field projects across different job sites</li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</li><li>Must be able to stand, kneel, operate equipment and be exposed to dust and vibration for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to travel at least 100% of the time with overnight and weekend and overnight travel required. </li></ul></li></ul><strong>A Workplace For All</strong><p>At EquipmentShare, we believe the best solutions come from a team that reflects the world around us.
