The Opportunity
The Video Editor is responsible for editing long-form video content for CoinPoker’s YouTube channel and ambassador/partner collaborations.
Cuts raw footage into structured, well-paced content that holds audience attention.
Shapes poker footage into compelling stories, elevating them in the edit.
Applies retention feedback to improve each video.
Adapts tone and style to fit different channels and audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form videos end-to-end (structure, pacing, sound, graphics, colour).
Shape poker footage into stories with tension, payoff, and strong narrative arcs.
Craft strong openings and maintain pace to maximize retention.
Adapt tone, pacing, and style for CoinPoker brand and partner content.
Deliver high-standard finishing craft (sound design, music, captions, motion graphics).
Apply feedback and retention findings to future edits.
Manage personal edit pipeline across multiple channels, delivering reliably.
Coordinate with ambassador and partnerships teams on footage and briefs.
Use AI and modern editing tools to speed up mechanical work.
Highly Desired Knowledge & Experience
Portfolio of long-form edits that held audiences, with ability to explain structural decisions.
Real understanding of poker as content — hands, players, personalities, stakes, stories.
Strong instincts for story, pacing, tension, and disciplined editing.
Skilled finishing craft across sound, music, captions, graphics, and colour.
Ability to adapt style and tone across different channels/brands.
Experience managing edit pipelines and meeting content calendar deadlines.
Comfort applying feedback and retention insights to edits.
Fluency with professional editing tools and AI-assisted workflows.
