This is an onsite position offered at the following universities: Currently enrolled full-time undergraduate student at a participating Big Ten (Penn State University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Illinois, University of Iowa, Rutgers University) or Big 12 university (University of Arizona, Baylor University, University of Colorado Boulder, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, Oklahoma State University, TCU, Texas Tech University, University of Utah, West Virginia University)

Location: On-campus (select Big Ten & Big 12 universities)

Type: Part-time, semester-based (Fall 2026 & Spring 2027)

About the Program

Venmo’s Student Ambassador Program gives students the opportunity to represent Venmo on select college campuses by driving awareness and sign-up of key Venmo products.

As a Venmo Student Ambassador, you'll become the face of the brand at your university—connecting with fellow students through events, campus organizations, and social content that brings the Venmo experience to life.

What You'll Do

Over the course of the Fall Semester, each Ambassador will be responsible for a set of baseline deliverables, with the opportunity to earn more by driving incremental results:

• Drive product sign-ups: Generate Venmo Debit Card sign-ups and/or Venmo App downloads through your unique link.
• Host a campus activation: Plan and host an on-campus activation to drive sign-ups, and support Venmo-led brand activations when they come to your school.
• Connect on campus: Attend on-campus organization meetings or events to encourage sign-up and usage of the Venmo Debit Card and app.
• Promote on social: Post pre-templated posts across your social channels promoting the Venmo Debit Card, brand activations, and campus programming.

What You'll Earn

• Baseline compensation — $500:
• Incremental incentives — up to $1,200:
• Plus the opportunity to earn additional rewards through ad-hoc challenges and initiatives. All compensation is paid directly to your Venmo or PayPal account.
• Hands-on brand & marketing experience with one of the most recognized names in payments to build your resume for future opportunities

Who We're Looking For

• Active and connected on campus — involved in student organizations, Greek life, club sports, or similar communities
• Strong social media presence and comfort posting content across platforms
• Outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable engaging peers face-to-face
• Reliable and organized — able to independently manage deliverables over a full semester
• Must have (or be willing to create) a Venmo account to receive payouts
• Currently enrolled full-time undergraduate student at a participating Big Ten (Penn State University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Illinois, University of Iowa, Rutgers University) or Big 12 university (University of Arizona, Baylor University, University of Colorado Boulder, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, Oklahoma State University, TCU, Texas Tech University, University of Utah, West Virginia University)
• Ambassadors will be selected and notified by the week of Aug. 10, 2026.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
