Recruitment & Candidate Screening Virtual Assistant, Amazon DSP Support
Job Description:
- Manage inbound candidate applications from Indeed and other approved recruitment platforms
- Review applicant information and resumes against required qualifications
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls or communications
- Validate work experience, availability, schedule expectations, transportation requirements, basic qualifications, and ability to meet company policies
- Communicate employment requirements and company expectations to candidates
- Identify strong-fit candidates and remove unqualified applicants from the pipeline
- Schedule qualified candidates for interviews with the client’s hiring team
- Coordinate candidate and stakeholder availability, manage calendars, and send confirmations and reminders
- Follow up with candidates regarding interview details and next steps
- Maintain accurate candidate records, tracking spreadsheets, databases, statuses, screening outcomes, interview schedules, and hiring progress
- Provide regular recruitment updates and reports
- Document and improve recruitment workflows and support SOP creation
- Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound applicants
- Answer candidate questions and maintain a positive, professional candidate experience
- Identify recruitment workflow improvements and prevent missed screening steps
- Work with the client’s team to improve hiring efficiency and candidate processing
Requirements:
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, HR support, candidate coordination, or administrative support
- Strong ability to screen candidates and evaluate qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and recruitment tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate professionally with applicants
- Ability to follow specific hiring requirements and screening criteria
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using online recruitment platforms and scheduling tools
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Preferred experience supporting high-volume recruitment or hiring processes
- Preferred experience with Indeed or similar job platforms
- Preferred experience in staffing, logistics, transportation, or operations recruitment
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Experience coordinating interviews and managing candidate pipelines
- Previous experience supporting remote teams
- Knowledge of Amazon DSP operations is a plus but not required
- Experience creating recruitment reports and process documentation
- Native or near-native English proficiency preferred (Accent Preference: Level A–B)
- Proficiency with Indeed, applicant tracking systems, job boards, email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Calendly, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, Dropbox, recruitment dashboards, and LastPass or similar secure credential management tools
- Availability for 40 contracted hours per week
- Preferred working days Friday through Tuesday, with Wednesday and Thursday off
- Availability to work EST; daily hours flexible based on candidate activity and recruitment needs
- Must operate under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work as an independent contractor
