Process Operator Night Shift
Requisition ID: 44632 Job Description McCrum is a division of McCain Foods USA. About the role. Join our team in Northern Maine and play a key role in our potato processing operation. As a Process Operator, you will help ensure the safe, efficient production of high-quality potato products by operating processing equipment, monitoring production processes, and supporting food safety and quality standards across the facility. This role is a night shift schedule, 6pm - 6am. What you’ll be doing. Operate and monitor processing equipment and production lines. Perform quality checks to ensure products meet established specifications. Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate maintenance needs when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures. Complete production documentation and shift reports accurately and on time. Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. What you’ll need to be successful. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing, food processing, or industrial experience is an asset. Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Compensation Package: Starting at $20 USD hourly + $1.50 differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
