Allegro Hyde Park — a premier senior living community in the heart of Tampa's historic Hyde Park neighborhood — is seeking a warm, professional Part-Time Receptionist to be the welcoming presence at our front desk. With consistent morning hours ending at 3pm and roughly 16 hours per week, this is a great opportunity for someone who wants meaningful part-time work in a beautiful, well-run community.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and vendors with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, greet walk-in guests, and direct visitors to the appropriate party
- Retrieve, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Receive and enter resident maintenance requests using the Company Work Order system
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident, associate, and community information
- Support the leadership team with administrative tasks as needed
- Prior front desk or receptionist experience — preferred
- Warm, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask effectively
- Comfortable with computers and multi-line phone systems
- Must be 18+
- No certifications required

The Receptionist performs receptionist and diverse business office duties that are technical and detailed. In performing these duties, the Receptionist is the first point of contact for anyone coming to the Community.
Areas of Responsibility
- First point of contact via telephone and walk-in traffic with prospects, residents, family, associates, and vendors.
- Greet all guests, visitors, residents, and vendors in a positive, friendly manner while ensuring a welcoming Community atmosphere is established.
- Answer the telephone, take messages, greet, and direct visitors and vendors to the appropriate party.
- Responsible for the daily retrieving, preparing, and distributing of both incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and packages.
- Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident, associate, Community and Company information deemed as such.
- Receive resident requests for maintenance in their apartments using the Company Work Order system.

- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Minimum one (1) year experience as receptionist in a professional business environment.
- Must have working knowledge of appropriate Microsoft Office programs.
- Must have working knowledge of office equipment such as copy machine, calculator, and multi-line telephone system.
- Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
- The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
- Pay attention to detail, be organized, and be able to multi-task.
- Must have demonstrated teamwork skills.
