Marketing & Communications Coordinator - Entry Level

Summary

We're looking for an organized, resourceful communicator to join our team as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. In this entry-level role, you'll be the day-to-day resource for coordinating communications and marketing activities across the organization. You'll assist with content development, social media, employee communications, website updates, marketing materials, events, and other initiatives that strengthen our brand and support business objectives.

The ideal candidate is someone who can manage multiple priorities, write clearly, work effectively with colleagues at all levels, and independently move assignments from request through completion. No prior professional experience is required—we provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and distribution of internal communications, including employee updates, company announcements, and organizational news

• Gather information from team members and leaders to develop accurate and engaging content

• Assist with photography, imagery collection, and visual content organization

• Support day-to-day management of social media channels

• Monitor company channels for comments, messages, and engagement requiring follow-up

• Coordinate routine website content updates and help ensure company information stays accurate and current

• Assist with the development and maintenance of marketing materials, presentations, and branded resources

• Maintain an organized library of project photography, logos, graphics, and marketing assets

• Support coordination of conferences, trade shows, customer events, employee events, and community initiatives

• Coordinate event logistics including registrations, promotional items, signage, and shipping

• Work with vendors to obtain pricing, place orders, and track production and delivery

• Maintain event calendars, deadlines, and supporting documentation

• Provide on-site event support when required

• Support marketing components of presentations and materials

• Provide administrative support with documentation and department tasks

Skills/background needed

• Strong writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to gather information from multiple people and turn it into clear, concise communications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content

• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

• Experience with WordPress is a plus

• Photography, video, or basic graphic design skills are a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred, but strong internship experience or relevant background may be considered

• Willingness to occasionally travel or work outside normal business hours for company events

Rate:Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length:Full-time, permanent role

Location:On-site position
