Answering Service Agent - Weekday Evenings and Weekends

We’re currently hiring for an Evenings and Weekend Answering Service Agent! Are you someone who enjoys helping others and providing quality customer service—especially during the times it matters most? reputed company is looking for friendly, dependable, and empathetic candidates to join our team as a part-time agent. This position is primarily after hours on weekdays and weekends, therefore good weekend and evening availability is a requirement. There will be opportunities to pick up additional hours, but we are specifically seeking individuals who are available to work weekday afternoons and Saturdays and Sundays mornings and evenings, this will include some holidays. This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking part-time work with potential for remote work flexibility after training is completed. Our answering service operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and we pride ourselves on being the calm and professional voice on the line whenever we’re needed. We’re looking for agents who are detail-oriented, patient, and capable of supporting callers with professionalism and compassion—especially in urgent or emotional situations. You must be comfortable working on a computer, navigating software, and typing accurately during live calls. Job Duties • Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, assess caller needs, verify and gather necessary information. • Engage in active listening and practice empathy; confirm and clarify details as needed, including supporting callers in destress. • Accurately create electronic messages, dispatch calls according to client instructions, and document all relevant activity. • Adhere to established quality standards and guidelines to maintain high service levels. • Understand and strive to meet or exceed performance metrics while delivering consistent, high-quality customer service.
