WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - 2nd Shift
<br><p>SUMMARY: </p><br><p> </p><br><p>The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with food safety standards, and timely distribution of goods. </p><br><p> </p><br><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: </p><br><ul><br> <li>Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</li><br> <li>Audit accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).</li><br> <li>Prepare reports on inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.</li><br> <li>Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Federal Drug Administration (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).</li><br> <li>Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.</li><br> <li>Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipments.</li><br> <li>Assist & supervise warehouse staff with training, scheduling, and warehouse activities. </li><br> <li>Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to meet hygiene standards.</li><br> <li>Other duties as assigned by management. </li><br></ul><br><p> </p><br><p>QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION: </p><br><p> </p><br><ul><br> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.</li><br> <li>Minimum five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing</li><br></ul><br><ul><br> <li>Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required. </li><br> <li>Lean, continuous improvement, six sigma certification(s), a plus </li><br> <li>Computer proficiency, with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Labor Management Systems, and Materials Management Systems, preferred. </li><br> <li>Knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.</li><br> <li>Forklift and other warehouse equipment certifications are required. </li><br></ul><br><p> </p><br><p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT: </p><br><p> </p><br><ul><br> <li>Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve: </li><br></ul><br><ul><br> <li>Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing, work around loud machinery and moving parts </li><br> <li>Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, continually exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather) </li><br> <li>Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, exposed to outside weather conditions, and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely </li><br></ul><br><p> </p>
