Warehouse Picker

Testa Produce traces its roots back to 1912 when Dominick Testa started delivering produce to customers in Chicago. The company is now a member of the FreshEdge family of companies and run by Peter Testa, Dominick’s grandson. We offer a complete line of products to foodservice operators throughout Northern & Central Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana. While Testa Produce is known for its fresh fruits and vegetables as well as availability of special produce items, it also offers dry goods, frozen items and refrigerated meats and dairy items. Testa operates primarily out of its LEED platinum foodservice facility in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago but maintains a cross-dock facility in Milwaukee to service its Wisconsin customers. Testa Produce operates a fleet of roughly 55 refrigerated trucks and tractor-trailers all powered by Compressed Natural Gas. As our tagline says we are “Green by nature but Greener by Choice.

The Testa family is supported by an amazing team of transportation, warehouse, sales and administrative employees. We focus on meeting and exceeding our customers’ needs every day through hard work, creative thinking, use of technology and practical experience in the Produce/Distribution industry. We seek candidates that are looking to work in a team environment and are willing to become a contributing member of a family run business.
