Vice President, Product & Solution Marketing
Job Description:
- Define market narratives and shape category leadership for Ping’s next phase of enterprise-scale growth
- Partner with the CEO, Product, and Sales to identify high-leverage opportunities and translate strategy into revenue impact
- Lead market and competitive intelligence, anticipate industry shifts, and identify opportunities across products, segments, and routes to market
- Define buyer personas, journeys, category narratives, company positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to set vision and market direction
- Create launch strategies, solution handbooks, sales knowledge-transfer plans, and integrated launch frameworks
- Own go-to-market strategy and planning for major product and solution launches
- Ensure sales readiness, enablement, and knowledge transfer
- Establish launch dashboards and post-launch analytics to measure success
- Drive partner go-to-market alignment and solution marketing for ecosystem growth
- Grow and develop the Product and Solution Marketing team
- Partner with Sales leadership to improve deal velocity, win rates, and competitive displacement
- Lead win/loss analysis and product growth diagnostics
- Optimize solution packaging and positioning using pipeline and performance signals
- Develop lifecycle and sunset communication strategies
- Build a partner marketing strategy and roadmap aligned with Ping’s broader go-to-market strategy
Requirements:
- 15+ years in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, or Category Marketing leadership
- Strong preference for experience in Identity, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise Technology
- Experience operating at $1B+ scale is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to define or redefine a category narrative
- Proven experience working directly with the CEO and board-level stakeholders to align competing priorities
- Ability to anticipate industry shifts and translate macro trends such as AI and regulation into strategic positioning
- Ability to connect messaging to pipeline outcomes and understand enterprise sales complexity
- Analytical rigor in go-to-market prioritization
- Experience developing high-performance product marketing talent and implementing repeatable lifecycle frameworks
