By combining creative production with data-driven optimization, the company turns live selling into consistent, scalable growth opportunities for its clients.</p><p><br></p><p>Role Description</p><p>The TikTok Live Moderator is an on-site role based in New York, NY. This role is responsible for monitoring live TikTok Shop streams in real time, managing chat interactions, and ensuring a safe, engaging, and brand-appropriate environment for viewers. Daily tasks include answering audience questions, flagging and removing inappropriate content, coordinating with hosts and producers during live sessions, and tracking common customer inquiries or issues. The moderator will help maintain stream quality by following brand guidelines, escalating technical or content concerns to the production team, and providing feedback to improve future live commerce sessions. This role also supports basic reporting on audience engagement and helps refine moderation processes to enhance viewer experience and conversion.</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Strong familiarity with TikTok, live streaming platforms, and social media engagement tools.</li><li>Excellent written communication skills for fast, clear, and professional chat responses.</li><li>Ability to assess and enforce community guidelines, including identifying and handling inappropriate or unsafe content.</li><li>Comfort working in a fast-paced live production environment, with strong attention to detail and situational awareness.</li><li>Customer service mindset and ability to respond courteously to a wide range of audience questions and behaviors.</li><li>Reliable on-site availability in New York, NY, and ability to work evenings or weekends as live programming requires.</li><li>Collaborative approach and willingness to coordinate closely with hosts, producers, and creators.</li><li>Previous experience in moderation, live streaming, customer support, or social media management is preferred.</li><li>Basic understanding of e-commerce or live selling is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful online community.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Pay Rate: $25-$25 / Hour, DOE</p>
