Supervisor, Warehouse 9/21/26 Mesa, Arizona, USA, 85210-6105 36871 Onsite Position<br><br><strong>Join Komatsu and Be Part of Something Big!<br><br></strong><strong>Job Overview<br><br></strong>Supervise daily warehouse operations supporting the efficient receiving, storage, binning, picking, packing, and shipping of service parts within Komatsu's Mesa Parts Distribution Center. This role plays a key part in the successful startup and growth of a greenfield operation by helping establish operational discipline, developing team capability, implementing standard work, and fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Leads a team of approximately 15-40 employees while supporting the facility's operational ramp-up and long-term performance objectives.<br><br><strong>Key Job Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead daily warehouse operations to achieve established Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cost objectives.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement, observations, audits, 5S standards, hazard identification, and timely corrective actions.</li><li>Support the implementation, refinement, and standardization of warehouse processes, procedures, and work instructions as the facility continues to ramp up operations.</li><li>Develop, coach, and engage team members while fostering a respectful, professional, inclusive, and accountable work environment.</li><li>Ensure employees follow established standards of work, warehouse procedures, and company policies.</li><li>Assist with onboarding, training, and developing newly hired employees to build a highly capable and flexible workforce.</li><li>Identify operational challenges, analyze root causes, and partner with leadership to implement sustainable solutions that improve performance and employee experience.</li><li>Champion change management initiatives and help employees successfully adapt to evolving business needs, processes, and operational requirements.</li><li>Protect company assets and ensure established security procedures are followed.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments and shifts to ensure effective hand-offs, operational alignment, and achievement of facility goals.</li><li>Conduct regular team communication meetings to communicate safety concerns, operational priorities, performance expectations, and business updates.</li><li>Provide feedback and recommendations regarding workflow design, storage strategies, labor utilization, and continuous improvement opportunities to support operational growth.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications/Requirements<br><br></strong><strong>Required Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or related operational experience.</li><li>Prior experience leading people in a team-based environment.</li><li>Strong communication, coaching, and employee development skills.</li><li>Ability to effectively lead through change and perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</li><li>Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple operational demands.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to build engagement, accountability, and trust across diverse teams.</li><li>Intermediate computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Office applications, or similar operational systems.</li><li>Willingness to continue professional development through training, certifications, and continuous learning opportunities.</li><li>Demonstrates an appropriate sense of urgency while balancing operational priorities and employee needs.</li><li>Sets high standards of performance for self and team members.</li><li>Utilizes the Komatsu Way and continuous improvement principles to solve problems and drive operational excellence.</li><li>Regular attendance and schedule flexibility to support operational requirements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong>While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have sufficient ordinary ambulatory skills to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
