Staff Accountant- Fully Remote (US)

Client: Software/Tech Organization
Role: Staff Accountant (Temporary to Hire)
Pay Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr
Location: ***Fully Remote***

Key Responsibilities

  • General Ledger & Accounting: Prepare and post routine and complex journal entries. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts regularly.
  • Hands on experience with AP accruals and full cycle AP required
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Play an active role in the financial close process by running reports, calculating accruals, tracking prepaid expenses, and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations; investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support: Assist with billing, payment processing, expense report audits, and vendor/customer inquiry resolution as needed.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in drafting monthly financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and variance analysis against budgets.
