As a recognized subject matter authority on advanced threat actors, attack methodologies, or intelligence tradecraft, this individual tackles significant and unique intelligence challenges, demonstrating exceptional proficiency in dissecting complex cyber incidents, campaigns, and trends. The Senior Staff Analyst proactively cultivates formal intelligence-sharing networks with internal security teams and external partners. Providing influential thought leadership on broader cybersecurity initiatives and strategic planning, this position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of the business context driving cyber risk. The Senior Staff Analyst must articulate highly advanced threat intelligence findings and persuasively communicate actionable insights to diverse technical and executive audiences. organizational projects that require a deep understanding of the wider business context and potential impact of cyber threats.<br /> • Convey highly advanced and nuanced threat intelligence information through the production of strategic reports, executive briefings, presentations, and other intelligence deliverables, influencing diverse stakeholders and audiences.<br /> • Serve as a recognized internal subject matter expert on critical and complex cyber threat intelligence topics, providing authoritative guidance and insights.<br /> • Mentor and provide expert guidance to other analysts, potentially directing their activities on specific projects or initiatives.<br /> • Drive the development and implementation of innovative threat intelligence methodologies, tools, and processes to significantly enhance the team's capabilities.<br /> • Anticipate future threat trends and proactively develop intelligence strategies to address them.<br /> • Lead the development of complex analytical models and frameworks to understand and predict cyber threats.<br /> <br /> Qualifications<br /> <br /> Requirements:<br /> • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus in cyber threat intelligence or closely related fields (e.g., nation-state threat analysis, advanced persistent threats, intelligence analysis within government or large enterprises).<br /> • Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including various threat actors, attack vectors, and emerging threats.<br /> • Extensive experience in creating and leveraging formal networks across diverse groups.<br /> • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership and contribute to broader organizational projects.<br /> • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing malware, network traffic, and vulnerabilities to extract techniques and indicators of compromise.<br /> • Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), security information and event management (SIEM) systems, and other relevant security tools.<br /> • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.<br /> • Experience mentoring and providing expert guidance to other analysts.<br /> • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.<br /> • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and data analysis tools is highly desirable.<br /> • Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain).<br /> • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.<br /> • Ability to be on call to provide strategic support and guidance during critical incidents and non-traditional hours.<br /> • Relevant certifications (e.g., GCTI, GCIA, GCIH) are a plus.<br /> <br /> Additional Requirements:<br /> • Fully Remote: This position has been designated
