As a Senior Sourcer, you will join our Talent Acquisition team to find, attract, and hire the world's greatest minds, specifically targeting hard-to-fill and niche positions that require a high-touch, concierge-style partnership.

In this role, you will navigate the messy reality of shifting priorities and high-ambiguity searches. You'll need to be resilient and resourceful, acting as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders while managing a fast-paced pipeline. This isn't just about finding resumes; it's about building long-term talent communities and making an impact on the real-world growth of our global business.

What you'll do

  • Identify and engage top-tier talent for niche roles across the organization, aligning candidate motivations with Uber's real-world challenges and values.
  • Partner closely with senior business leaders and recruiting partners to set action plans and influence hiring strategies using real-time data and market insights.
  • Build and maintain robust pipelines of active and passive candidates through creative sourcing channels, ensuring every prospect has a high-quality, transparent experience.
  • Navigate internal complexity and unblock hiring bottlenecks by proactively communicating with stakeholders and managing expectations under pressure.
  • Use data and conversion metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the hiring process.
  • Collaborate across the People & Places organization to develop innovative approaches for attracting diverse talent in a competitive global market.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in sourcing.
  • Experience in an in-house or agency environment focused on fast-paced, high-growth hiring.
  • Proven track record of identifying, engaging, and converting niche or hard-to-find talent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in using data and analytics to influence business stakeholders and guide hiring decisions.
  • Experience recruiting specifically for Sales, Marketing, or GTM roles at a global scale.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner with senior-level business leaders.
  • Passion for building diverse teams and understanding talent distribution through advanced talent mapping techniques.

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.


For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $122,000 per year - USD $135,000 per year.


For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $110,000 per year - USD $122,000 per year.


For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
