Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders with precision, and serve with professionalism.
  • Process all sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as chowbus POS, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Upsell menu items, including specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols.
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues courteously, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Support team members during busy hours by multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining or nightclub settings.

Requirements

  • Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like chowbus POS.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for processing transactions accurately.
  • Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude that fosters guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
