[Remote] Pharmacy Tech/CSR

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NTT DATA Services is seeking Pharmacy Technicians/Customer Service Representatives for a remote, one-year contract opportunity. The role handles prior authorization calls, documents reviews, transfers clinical questions to pharmacists, and supports outbound calls, fax and ePA processing, and departmental inquiries.


Responsibilities

  • Primary duties include taking Prior Auth in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc providing professional and courteous phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of reviews. Transfers all clinical questions, escalations and judgement calls to the pharmacist team
  • Will also assist with other duties as needed to include but not limited to: outbound calls, reviewing and processing Prior Auth’s received via fax and ePA, monitoring and responding to inquiries via department mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Healthcare or PBM/Prior Authorization call center
  • 2+ years' experience with medical terminology and coding
  • 2+ years utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc) on a daily basis
  • 1+ years' experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function
  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred
  • Will also consider a Pharm Tech Trainee license
