Remote Customer Service Rep – Inbound Chat/Email (CST)

We are hiring a detail-oriented and customer-focused Remote Customer Service Representative to handle inbound chat and email support. In this role, you will assist customers by resolving inquiries, providing accurate information, and ensuring a positive support experience—without any voice calls.

This position is ideal for candidates who are comfortable with written communication and working remotely during CST hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound customer queries via chat and email in a timely manner

  • Resolve issues related to accounts, orders, services, or general inquiries

  • Provide clear, accurate, and professional written responses

  • Document interactions and update customer records in CRM systems

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team when required

  • Meet quality, response time, and customer satisfaction targets

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and data security guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent written communication skills in English

  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems

  • Comfortable handling multiple chats/emails simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace

Experience:

  • Prior experience in customer service, chat support, or email support is a plus

  • Freshers with strong written communication skills are welcome

Working Hours:

  • Aligned with Central Standard Time (CST)

  • Fixed or rotational shifts depending on business needs

  • Weekend availability may be required
