Title: Registered Nurse Quality Manager

Location: ME - Portland

Job Description:

Experienced nursing leaders are encouraged to consider an anticipated opening and full-time Quality Manager position with Liberty Healthcare.

This is a key leadership role with new statewide initiative to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of a largescale critical incident, grievance and complaint management system for Home and Community-Based Services provided to older adults, vulnerable individuals, and people living with disabilities.

Program elements will include

  • Partnering with state agency teams
  • Creating an ideal experience for individuals who report complaints and grievances
  • Reviewing, triaging, processing reported incidents on a timely basis
  • Ensuring a high degree of consistency and quality of reviews
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Providing technical assistance to HCBS providers
  • Preparing for future initiatives

Quality Manager Job Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training and supervising ten remote Quality Reviewers
  • Quality oversight of incident management, grievance review and complaint resolution activities
  • Providing clinical leadership
  • Consulting on complex cases
  • Ensuring contract deliverables are met
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Supporting the program’s Director with various leadership activities
  • Leading with a focus on the best interests of the people we serve

Schedule

You will work primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

This is a remote position which will primarily allow you to work from your home and occasionally require you to travel throughout Maine.

  • $90,000 per year

Qualifications

You must be licensed professionally in Maine as a Registered Nurse and have at least five years of nursing leadership experience.

You should be well versed in these areas:

  • Critical incident management
  • Quality management
  • Performance improvement
  • Inter-rater reliability
  • Medicaid Home and Community Based Services
  • Person-centered care of older adults and people who are living with disabilities

Although this is a remote position, residency within Maine is required.
