Pharmacy Technician - Day Shift
<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>Texas based LTC Pharmacy is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our Pharmacy team!<br><br>We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision. If you’re driven, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative while juggling multiple priorities, we want you on our team.<br><br><strong>Schedule:<br><br></strong><strong>Full Time:</strong> Monday thru Friday 10 am - 7 pm or 11 am - 8 pm<br><br><ul><li> Rotating Saturday & Sunday schedule (every other week)</li><li>Days off occurs during the week when working Saturday & Sunday<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Note</strong>: Must be agreeable to a modified schedule during training, regular schedule will resume once training is complete<br><br><strong><em>Responsibilities:<br><br></em></strong><ul><li>Triage incoming Rx orders. </li><li>Accurately enter Rx orders according to pharmacy workflow and delivery cut-off times. </li><li>Process refills as requested.</li><li>Process 3rd party claims adjudication (insurance claims rejections). </li><li>Coordinate and triage all pharmacy inquiries (i.e. phone, fax, correspondence, electronic media) and resolve all customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided.</li><li>Outreach to Retail Pharmacies and delivery service to coordinate filling of medications in between scheduled pharmacy deliveries.</li><li>Resolve customer complaints in a timely, accurate and professional manner.</li><li>Provide customers with resources or additional information.</li><li>Navigate across multiple computer systems to respond to questions from external and/or internal partners.</li><li>Constantly meet established productivity requirements, schedule adherence and quality standards.</li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to prescription orders, refills, and patient inquiries.</li><li>Verify and input prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system.</li><li>Assist patients and healthcare providers with medication-related questions and provide clear, professional guidance.</li><li>Work closely with pharmacists and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate prescription processing.</li><li>Maintain a high level of accuracy when collecting and documenting patient information.</li><li>Monitor order statuses, provide updates, and resolve any issues that may arise with prescriptions or shipments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies</li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Unblemished TSBP Pharmacy Technician Registration in good standing</li><li>One (1) year of high-volume order entry required</li><li>Experience in Long Term Care pharmacy</li><li>Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of a PC and be able to learn and use new software<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with Framework, Docutrack or ECM preferred</li><li>Remote work<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full Time<br><br><strong>Benefits:<br><br></strong><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision</li><li>Short-Term disability</li><li>Critical Illness</li><li>Accident Insurance</li><li>Life Insurance<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Education: </strong>High school or Equivalent (Preferred)<br><br><strong>License/Certification:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration (Required)</li><li>Driver's License (Preferred)<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Location:</strong> Remote
