Order Picker/Packer - Warehouse Associate
Company Overview:Exotic Nutrition is a pet supply manufacturer and ecommerce distributor based in Newport News.We are a small team of about 15 employees, but a well-established company with 28 years in business! We are looking to add an Order Picker/Packer to join our team.Position Details:Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.Compensation:Starting rate of $16-$17/hour, depending on experience, references, and proven work ethic.Opportunities for a raise to $17-$19/hour, for long-term, reliable employees.Benefits:PTO, health & dental insurance, and 401(k) with company match.Work Environment:Comfortable, climate-controlled warehouse, with two other friendly coworkers at the Order Picker/Packer Station.Requirements:Accurately read 150order slips per day, pick products from inventory bins, and box.Ability to be on your feet and walk the entire workday.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.Previous warehouse or order fulfillment experience a plus, but not required.Why Join Us?At Exotic Nutrition, we offer reliable long-term work, with a supportive team.You'll work alongside our Order Packing Lead who has been with us for 6 years, and our Warehouse Lead who has been with us for 16 years!
