Neuro-Radiologist
About the position
Northshore Hospitals is seeking a Neuroradiologist to join their team in Evanston, IL. This position involves 100% neuroradiology work, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home rotations. Approximately 75% of day shifts will be from home, and 100% of night, evening, and holiday shifts will also be from home. The role includes 25% of time working with residents and Neuroradiology fellows. The Endeavor Health NorthShore Radiology Department is a large, subspecialized department covering four hospitals and is located in desirable Chicago suburbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform 100% neuroradiology.
- Work with residents and Neuroradiology fellows for 25% of the time.
- Participate in primary call 1:9, ending at 9:00 pm, with in-house and tele coverage overnight by ED Radiologists.
- Work 100% night/evening/holiday shifts from home.
- Utilize fully integrated PACS, voice recognition, and EPIC EMR.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Neuroradiology required.
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure.
- DEA and Controlled Substance License required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
