IDT Manager for Shell Mobility Hong Kong & Macau

As the IDT Manager for Shell Mobility Hong Kong & Macau, you will serve as the primary technology partner for the local business, driving the alignment of IT and digital initiatives with business objectives. You will be accountable for shaping priorities and ensuring the effective delivery of technology outcomes across fuels, convenience retail, mobility services and EV charging, working closely with global, regional and local teams.

A key focus of the role is ensuring IT service reliability, cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory compliance. You will represent Shell Hong Kong in engagements with local regulatory bodies and cybersecurity stakeholders, while partnering with internal natural teams to maintain compliance with evolving Hong Kong information security and data governance requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the primary and trusted IT partner for Shell Mobility Hong Kong & Macau business leadership.
  • Align technology priorities, investments and delivery plans with business strategy and growth objectives across retail mobility businesses.
  • Own demand management, portfolio prioritisation and value realisation, balancing business needs, risk, cost and delivery capacity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors and service providers to deliver technology solutions and maintain stable business operations.
  • Ensure availability, performance and resilience of business systems and services.
  • Lead local IT governance, cybersecurity, information security and operational risk management activities.
  • Partner with the IRM natural teams to ensure compliance with Hong Kong and Macau regulatory requirements relating to cybersecurity, data security and privacy protection, and act as the local liaison with relevant government agencies, regulators and industry bodies when required.
  • Partner with global, regional and local teams to ensure Shell Hong Kong and Macau Mobility technology landscape remains secure, compliant and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, data and innovation to improve commercial performance, customer experience and operational efficiency

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, digital transformation or technology-enabled business roles, including experience supporting business stakeholders and leading technology initiatives.
  • Proven experience in IT management, business partnering, technology delivery or digital transformation within customer-facing or regulated industries.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment across business, technology and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to make effective prioritisation and investment decisions by balancing business value, cost, risk and delivery considerations.
  • Experience leading delivery through cross-functional teams and vendors in a matrix environment.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, information security governance, data privacy and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory frameworks related to information security, technology risk management and data protection is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with retail, payments, loyalty, mobility, EV charging platforms or digital customer ecosystems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
