Role Description

The Associate Vice President (AVP), Global Commercial Leader Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Immunology will lead the global strategy and enterprise launch readiness of our company's next immunology drug for Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s Disease (CD) indications.

The global brand leader is responsible for setting a bold aspirational commercial vision and guiding a cross-functional team to realize this vision. This is a business-critical role for our company. Our ability to make a meaningful impact on immunology diseases will be influenced by the leadership and vision of this role.

The Global Commercial Leader for IBD will provide commercial input into late-stage Business Development efforts, play an important role in supporting the commercial leadership of our IBD launches, exemplify our inclusive ways of working, embed advanced analytics into launch planning and contribute to the development of evolving commercial models in order to build value for patients, payers and Healthcare Providers (HCPs).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Marketing Commercial teams for UC and CD and ensure integration of marketing, policy, Global Market Access (GMAx), Medical, Clinical and the Center for Observational and Real-world Evidence (CORE) in the development of an integrated global brand strategy for Tulisokibart & IBD emerging portfolio.
  • Collaborate with key markets & stakeholders to ensure a unified & flawless execution of the global brand strategy, value evidence plan, rapid and broad access, launch readiness & go to market model while leveraging synergies across UC & CD.
  • Partner with Research and Development (R&D) to optimize Product Development Team (PDT), development and launch readiness plans.
  • Support development efforts with R&D and Corporate Business development in IBD.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Team to identify inorganic growth opportunities in the IBD market.
  • Work closely with Early Development Commercial Leads to ensure commercial insights within the IBD space are leveraged in the development of pre-phase II assets.
  • Drive forward digital innovation, focused on strategy development, optimization of analytics as well as tactic development work through the Global Commercial Team (GCT) and Key markets to support consistent execution at local country level.
  • Engage policy team to identify relevant policy levers to support portfolio access.
  • Maintain strong level of collaboration with our Manufacturing colleagues to inform short-term and long-term supply chain decisions.
  • Partner with R&D CORE team to ensure real world evidence plan is fully aligned with portfolio priorities.
  • Partner with Immunology Global Marketing Colleagues to invest in each other’s development, build a culture of inclusivity and stretch our collective team’s thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Advanced Degree (MBA)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries and at least 3 years demonstrated in-line marketing experience required.
  • Prior launch experience preferred.
  • 5+ year global immunology experience.
