Role Description

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. An Amazon Delivery Service Partner operating in New Jersey is seeking a versatile Recruiting & Operations Assistant to support driver hiring, onboarding, fleet administration, and general back-office operations.

The immediate priority is assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of delivery associates ahead of peak season. The Virtual Assistant will:

  • Review applicants
  • Communicate with candidates
  • Conduct initial interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding requirements
  • Maintain accurate records across Indeed, Amazon systems, ADP, and internal trackers

As hiring activity changes, this individual will also support fleet management and other administrative workflows. The ideal candidate is:

  • Proactive
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Technologically capable
  • Able to work across several responsibilities without requiring constant direction

The position will begin at 10 hours per week, with the expectation that hours may increase significantly during the final two months of the year and as the role develops.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Qualifications

  • Previous recruiting, onboarding, HR support, or executive administrative experience required
  • Experience screening or interviewing job candidates strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting logistics, transportation, delivery, or high-volume hiring operations preferred
  • CRM experience required
  • Strong experience with spreadsheets and data tracking required
  • Ability to work during EST business hours required
  • Native or near-native English communication required
  • English/Spanish bilingual ability a plus but not required
  • Experience handling confidential employee or applicant information preferred
  • Strong attention to compliance, documentation, and audit readiness required
