Guest Service Representative / Hotel Front Desk (Part-time)

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Agent to oversee daily operations at our bustling hospitality establishment. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of the hotel, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, managing guest relations, and maintaining top-tier customer service standards. You will provide memorable stays for every guest while upholding the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Duties

  • Daily front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and billing procedures
  • Deliver outstanding guest services with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and handle guest requests with a positive attitude
  • Address concerns swiftly ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Uphold hotel policies, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and special requests for future reference
  • Uphold hotel standards by enforcing policies related to guest safety, security, and hospitality protocols
  • Assist in resolving complex guest issues or complaints with tact and professionalism to foster loyalty
  • Assist in back-of-house operations including but not limited to cleaning public areas, vacuuming corridors, processing hotel laundry, etc.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends and some holidays. 8-24 hours per week with potential to move to full-time status.

Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality or equivalent front desk reception work
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Prior experience working in a hospitality operation is advantageous
