Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front-End Developer to support a United States Air Force (USAF) program focused on delivering modern, secure, and accessible web applications for mission-critical cybersecurity and vulnerability management platforms. The developer will play a key role in building and enhancing user interfaces across multiple front-end frameworks, integrating data from enterprise systems, and ensuring compliance with federal security and accessibility standards. This position requires collaboration with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment to develop responsive, data-driven applications that support USAF operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using Vue 3, React, and Angular.
  • Migrate and consolidate functionality between existing front-end applications while maintaining a consistent user experience.
  • Translate wireframes, mockups, and business requirements into production-ready solutions.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations using tables, filters, and charts to display vulnerability and security data.
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and authentication services.
  • Implement OIDC-based authentication and secure token management.
  • Apply front-end security best practices, including CSP and XSS prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
  • Develop unit and component tests and support automated UI testing efforts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills:
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance
  • 0-3 years of professional front-end development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
  • Experience with Vue 3 (Composition API), React, or Angular, with the ability and willingness to work across multiple front-end frameworks.
  • Experience using component libraries such as Vuetify, Material UI (MUI), or Angular Material, along with SCSS for styling.
  • Knowledge of client-side state management solutions, including Pinia, Redux Toolkit, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs using Axios or Fetch.
  • Experience writing unit tests using Vitest, Jest, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git version control and GitLab merge request workflows.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and front-end development best practices.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Vite for modern front-end development and build optimization.
  • Experience with Cypress for end-to-end and component testing of web applications.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and libraries, including D3.js and other charting frameworks.
  • Understanding of front-end security best practices, including Content Security Policy (CSP) and secure web application development.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards to ensure compliance and inclusive user experiences.
  • Experience using Docker for local development, testing, and containerized application environments.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification or willingness to obtain it to meet DoD 8140 compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience supporting DoD, USAF, or Federal Government programs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps practices.

Salary Range: $90K-$105K per Annually
