Creative Strategist / Direct Response Copywriter wanted – $1.5k/mo + % ad spend - Contract to Hire

Creative Strategist — Direct-Response Video Ads (Meta)

We are a fast-growing iOS app in the health & wellness space with a high-volume Meta ad program built on UGC and short-form video creative.

We're looking for a Creative Strategist to own our creative pipeline and scale what's working. Strong fit = long-term relationship.

What You'll Do

- Research the market and top-performing ads to find angles and hooks worth testing.

- Turn concepts into editor-ready briefs: beat-by-beat script direction, on-screen text, concrete visuals.

- Work from avatar, angle, and awareness level to build full shot-by-shot briefs.

- Write hooks, angles, and VO direction that sound like a real person, not an ad.

- Design clean split tests that isolate one variable, so every batch teaches us something.

Brief for editors (many ESL) — clear, concrete, impossible to misread.

Stay compliant: health/wellness means no medical claims, Meta policy, App Store rules. Persuasive and clean.

Who You Are

- Real direct-response experience — you know awareness levels, avatars, hooks, and angles cold.

- You've written or briefed high-performing UGC / video ads for Meta.

- Structured and fast — you can turn an idea into a buildable brief the same day.

- Compliance-aware, ideally in health, supplements, or fitness.

How to Apply

Answer the following directly:

- Link 2–3 UGC or video ads you wrote or briefed. What was the angle, and why did it work?

- Pick any app or product and give us a hook + angle for a problem-aware audience in 3–4 sentences. Rough thinking beats a polished script.

- Your process for taking a concept from idea to finished brief.

- Have you worked in a compliance-sensitive niche? How did you stay persuasive without crossing the line?

- Your rate and availability.

Applications missing any of these will be skipped.
