We’re looking for an individual contributor to build the industry partnerships that bring it to barbershops and salons.</p><p>This is a hybrid partnerships and industry-relationship role. Youll need real credibility in the beauty and personal-care space. That means people whove sold into salons, worked the trade show and distributor circuit, or spent time on the service-provider side.</p><p></p><p><strong>Location & Work Arrangement</strong></p><p>This role is being offered on a contract basis requiring 40 hours per week. The position is field-based, with occasional travel for partner meetings and industry events. </p><p>Acorns is a remote-first organization, offering the flexibility to work remotely with optional access to its Irvine, CA office. The contract is expected to last <strong>six</strong> months, with the potential for extension or conversion based on business needs.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you will do at Acorns</strong></p><ul><li><p>Own a pipeline of partners across the beauty and barber ecosystem and move them from first conversation to signed partnership. Partner types include:</p><ul><li><p>Supply distributors, such as SalonCentric, CosmoProf, and independent beauty suppliers</p></li><li><p>Salon chains, franchises, and booth-rental brands, such as Great Clips, Regis, and Sola</p></li><li><p>Booking and POS platforms, such as theCut, Booksy, and Squire</p></li><li><p>Barber culture and tool brands, such as Tomb45, Suavecito, and Wahl</p></li></ul></li></ul><ul><li><p>Leverage your existing relationships in the beauty industry (distributors, booth-rental chains, franchise groups, beauty schools, trade associations, and influencers) to open doors and land multi-location and franchise partnerships.</p></li><li><p>Structure partnerships such as co-marketing, rev-share, education content, affiliate, and embedded distribution, working with Acorns Legal and Compliance on terms.</p></li><li><p>Activate partner channels such as sales teams, marketing channels, and education content so sign-ups, activation, and tip volume follow.</p></li><li><p>Represent Acorns at industry trade shows, beauty conventions, and stylist community events to build the brand and the pipeline.</p></li><li><p>Maintain the partner tracker and report pipeline, outreach, and results to Acorns leadership.</p></li><li><p>Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to refine the pitch, onboarding flow, and QR code experience based on what you hear from partners and professionals.</p></li><li><p>Gather on-the-ground feedback from barbers, stylists, and partners to shape how the product evolves for the service industry.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>What you will bring to Acorns</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience selling into or working within the salon, barbershop, or beauty industry, as a sales rep, distributor, brand rep, franchise consultant, or similar. You have a real network of contacts you can activate on day one.</p></li><li><p>A track record of closing relationship-driven partnerships or sales with business owners, distributors, or franchise groups.</p></li><li><p>Experience working independently and managing your own pipeline and cadence across multiple partners at once.</p></li><li><p>Comfort with the fintech and product side. You dont need a finance background, but you should learn Acorns product well enough to pitch it credibly to partners.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational skills: tracking pipeline, managing follow-ups, and reporting results.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to travel regularly for partner meetings and industry events.</p></li><li><p>Hunger to build something new.
