<p><strong>Administration Assistant - Home Working - Engineering industry - £25k-30k p/a - Part time or Full time</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Location:</strong> Based in London with occasional office visits (but mostly remote home working)</li><li><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent, full-time </li><li><strong>Working hours:</strong> Flexibility within the company's normal 8:00am–5:00pm office hours</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We’re recruiting for a growing <strong>commercial HVAC and M&E engineering business</strong> looking to add an experienced Administration Assistant to its team.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a varied position where you’ll support the day-to-day operation of the business, working closely with engineers, management, customers and suppliers. The position is predominantly <strong>home-based</strong>, with occasional office days, and both full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You’ll play an important part in keeping jobs organised and ensuring engineers and customers have the information they need. Responsibilities will include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Coordinating engineers' diaries, site visits and workloads</li><li>Raising, updating and tracking jobs through <strong>Joblogic</strong></li><li>Following jobs through from initial instruction to completion</li><li>Liaising with customers, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors</li><li>Preparing quotations, reports and general documentation</li><li>Maintaining site, asset, contract and PPM records</li><li>Supporting invoicing, purchase orders and supplier invoices using <strong>Xero</strong></li><li>Assisting with job-cost reconciliation and credit control</li><li>Maintaining compliance documentation and engineer records</li><li>Handling incoming calls and emails and providing wider administrative support</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You’ll need previous administrative experience within a busy working environment, alongside good organisational skills, attention to detail and confidence using <strong>Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>You should be comfortable managing several priorities at once, communicating with different people throughout the day and working independently from home.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience with <strong>Joblogic and/or Xero</strong> would be advantageous but isn't essential.</p><p><br></p><p>Experience within <strong>facilities management, HVAC, air conditioning, mechanical engineering, building services or another field-service environment</strong> would also be particularly relevant, especially if you've previously coordinated engineers or subcontractors.</p><p><br></p><p>What's on offer?</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Permanent position</li><li>Full-time or part-time options</li><li>Predominantly home-based working</li><li>Occasional office days</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Opportunity to take on more responsibility as the business continues to grow</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Interested?
